What Xcergy is, and what it is not.
1. Not a Substitute for Medical Care
The information, calculations, and recommendations provided by Xcergy Health, including biomarker trend analysis, domain scores, workout prescriptions, and meal planning, are for educational and preventive wellness purposes only. Always consult a qualified physician or healthcare professional regarding any medical condition or symptoms.
2. Emergency Situations
Xcergy is not an emergency monitoring service. If you experience severe chest pain, acute shortness of breath, unexplained fainting, or any sudden medical emergency, seek immediate emergency medical attention or call your local emergency services immediately.
3. Physician Protocol Locks
When a member works directly with a physician on Xcergy, the clinician's prescribed modifications and protocol locks strictly supersede any automated algorithmic suggestions. Xcergy cannot and will not alter a locked clinical protocol.
4. Lab Results and Wearable Data
Xcergy reads the reports, measurements, and device data you provide. It does not perform laboratory testing, verify a third-party result, or guarantee that a wearable measurement is complete or accurate. Interpretation is general wellness guidance, not a clinical opinion.
5. Exercise and Nutrition Guidance
Training, food, and recovery suggestions are designed for lifestyle support and are based on the information available in your record. They are not prescriptions. Speak with a qualified clinician before changing exercise, diet, supplements, or treatment, especially if you are pregnant or managing a diagnosed condition.
6. Medicines, Symptoms, and Changes in Health
Tell your healthcare professional about medicines, symptoms, diagnoses, injuries, and any major change in your health. Do not stop, start, or change a medicine because of an Xcergy suggestion. If a safety gate or physician review is triggered, follow the clinician's direction.
7. No Real-Time Monitoring
Xcergy is not continuously monitored and cannot respond to an urgent change in your condition. If you have a medical emergency or symptoms that concern you, contact your local emergency service or go to the nearest hospital.
8. Questions About Your Care
Use Xcergy to organise information and prepare better questions for your care team. A qualified clinician who knows your history is the right person to interpret symptoms, confirm a diagnosis, or decide on treatment.
